November 15, 2014 - Update

Buck has found his forever home and it was love at first sight!!!!

Daniel is 9 years old and the feeling is mutual.  Buck never even looked back as they drove out of the driveway!  Buck will live in San Francisco during the week and property in Mtn. Ranch on the weekends.

He has a 18 month old female Boxer Pointer mix to play with and of course Daniel.  Hopefully they will stop by once in a while for us to see our favorite boy.

Buck

We did a DNA test on our boy Buck and it appears that Marge` needs to take another class on breed identification!! Buck is half Australian Kelpie and the other parent is a mix of the following breeds: Bull Terrier, Bernese Mountain Dog, Am Staff, Bulldog and French Bulldog. Regardless of his breed, he is a wonderful boy who is still looking for his forever home! Can you help??

Buck comes to us from the wonderful folks at the Calaveras Humane Society and was listed as a Rottweiler/Chocolate Lab mix. We really do not see either one of these breeds in him however.

What we do see is Pit Bull and maybe a little hound dog! Regardless of what breed he is, he is one awesome boy. He is 13 months old and is a real sweetheart.

Buck is very playful with other dogs but he definitely plays like a bully breed. He is a rough and tumble kind of guy. He and our Amador girl will play for hours and then take a nice long nap in their dog house.

Buck is coming along nicely with his obedience training and as you can see from his photo's he has a very nice heel, sit, stand and stay. He has been working in the weekend group classes and seems to get along with all of the dogs that he meets.

He is a very happy worker and really seems to enjoy his time with his trainers. Buck has been on a few pack walks and has done really well. We have not taken him off lead yet but plan to in the next few walks. He walks very nicely along with his trainer and even played in the water for part of the walk.

If you would like to come out and meet this handsome boy, please give us a call or send an email to make an appointment to see him.

Buck is patiently waiting for his forever home!!
