Update: November 26, 2013

Our favorite boy Harley, now going back to his original name Charlie, has finally found his forever home!!

Many tears were shed by all of us as he was driving out of the driveway with his new owner.  I am sure they were tears of joy but we are all going to miss him very much!!

Charlie will be living with a family with 2 other dogs on property outside of Sutter Creek. He will be coming back for the group classes so we will be able to see him.

Update: April 18, 2013

Harley (aka Charlie) & Lady were adopted by a wonderful friend of ours back in September 2009. They have been the perfect companions for her but she has now developed some health issues that make it impossible for her to keep them. Harley is now 8 years old and Lady is 10 years old. If you can give one or both of the wonderful dogs a home please give us a call.

History from his owner:
HARLEY D
, as I named him, is one of the most affectionate dogs. He minds well, is truly housebroken and has been a lifesaver for me. Harley doesn't think of himself as big, just first!!! He loves his constant companion, Ladybug and takes care of her. Harley likes to sleep comfortably, like on a couch or a bed! He rides well in a car, just don't leave food in the car, (as I made the mistake of doing, DUH)!!!!! As long as he is given his meds, he remains healthy, he eats well and drinks lots and lots of water. He's not much at playing with toys, but he loves to run.........

They have both been to PARADISE DOGGY DAYCARE and do quite well with other dogs;. They have also be on a 8 to 10 week schedule at DOGGY STYLES PET SALON in Sutter Hill for grooming. They don't like it, but they behave well with Shauna, the groomer. I can't tell you how heartbroken I am at having to give them up. It was the only alternative I had left. I will miss them both immensely and just pray that someone will take them and love them as I do. If someone has any questions, please feel free to call me any time, Margaret has my number.

September 5th, 2009 - Update

Today is a very special day at Twin Cedar Ranch.

A very dear friend and client came out to meet Charlie and Lady to see if either one of them would be able to fill the void in her heart from loosing her previous dog "Jazz" to cancer.

The greatest thing happened, Marilyn fell in love with both dogs and couldn't see them being separated from each other so she adopted both!!!!

Charlie Arrives at Twin Cedar

Charlie is a 4 year old German Shepherd & possibly Collie mix.  He came to us from one of our clients who is battling a very serious illness and is unable to take care of this wonderful boy.

Charlie is a real lover boy who knows most of his basic obedience (needs a refresher course) and is good with all people and other dogs.  Charlie is house broken and is an all around good guy.

Charlie does not understand why he has been taken
away from his owner and definitely misses companionship.  He loves to come out and practice
his obedience lessons and just hang out with his
trainers.

Charlie will fit into just about any lifestyle.  He loves to go for rides in the car, play ball, or just hang out with the family.

Charlie is a special needs dog.

Charlie has a pancreatic enzyme deficiency and will need to take medication for the rest of his life to keep him healthy.

When on the medication he is a normal dog that will live a normal life. Charlie is an awesome dog who deserves a second chance.

If you are interested in meeting Charlie, please give us a call.
